WASHINGTON — GroupConnect.com today announced the selection of veteran motorcoach and group travel industry business leader Tony Funderburg as its new Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the joint American Bus Association (ABA)-Ontario Motor Coach Association (OMCA) online portal designed to be a one-stop shop for group travel needs. He replaces Jennifer Powers in the position, who is moving on to Gray Line of Nashville effective this week.

Funderburg most recently served as a Sales Representative for Bluegreen Vacations. Prior to that, he served for six years as National Sales & Marketing Director for The International Motorcoach Group (IMG) from 2003-2009, where he was responsible for all sales and marketing efforts for IMG, a consortium of 57 motor coach transportation companies and about 180 supplier members located across North America. Before that, Funderburg served for five years as Director of Sales for Oak Tenn Inc., a hospitality management company, and as Special Events Manager for the Gatlinburg, Tennessee Department of Tourism.
